I don't want to grow up

As i was lazing around in front of the idiot box to let the food settle in my tummy after breaking fast yesterday, (in one breath..phew..), the show America's Funniest Home Video was on and they were showing this video clip of a kindergarten (is that how we spell tadika in english?ein, enlighten me please) graduation of some sort where this conversation took place: -

scenario: graduating kiddies were suppose to stand on some kind of a stage and publicly announce what they want to be when they grow up.

kid 1: I want to be a vampire veterinar

kid 2: i..er..umm..(fidget..fidget)..i don't want to grow up!(smiles)

well, to kiddo 1, i've nothing to say but GOOD LUCK (uh-huh) !! kiddo 2, for a kid your age I must applaud you for your intelligence. why become professionals and working people when u can stay young, play all day long, look innocent without the need carry any burden of responsibility. that should be the ambition of all kids in the world!! kiddo 2, u rawck!!! your parents have raised u well =)

at about 1 p.m today, i received a call for the above-titled person "accusing" me of being angry at her. having close friendship ties with these guys (mira,ein,and muna)have caused us being accustomed and influenced by each other's behaviours.

paranoia me, now paranoia mira. OCD ein, now OCD me. funny.by now u may have discovered who the above-titled person is. dunt ask me why froggy though. some silly spontenous silliness occured at Starbuck back in the student days.

thus, miss froggy thank u for calling and for sounding paranoia-like-me. gives me the comfort that im normal after all. hehe.

Having limited resource of different legislations in Bahasa Malaysia language since duh, im not stationed at the HQ, I discovered that www.parlimen.gov.my provides such service.alright!!

Heartbreaking

Just received a heartbreaking news that brought me to tears. A friend's (senior in uia) mother just passed away. Could not imagine the suffering of loss she's going thru. Now an orphan (lost her father few years back), she has to brave every day of her life without the ones she loved most.

I for one cannot imagine losing my parents though I know one day they would return to the Almighty One.

Takziah to K.ija and family. I know deep in my heart ur strong enough to brave thru the pain and suffering of losing her. Much love from me.

May her soul rest in peace.

That shoe is my this year ultimate black court shoe. I dun't know why but my fetish for quilt-based product is BACK!! just bought meself a cheap black and white quilt pump shoe.saw similar one in s'pore back in december but thought it was way too expensive and am so glad I found it here for a mucho cheaper price.

Oh yeah, im done with shoe and bag shopping, except for the cute little number up there (please smack me if i do anymore of it!!im serious). Time to make new baju kurungs for the many many weddings of the year this year!!=)

overwhelming

been wanting to blog but no words came out. told ya i'm on a hiatus mode. but today, i have to blog because the feeling is overwhelming. leaving y'all with a feeling of suspense yeah?heheh..

on wilayah day i spent more time with beloved close friends for a makan2 and yam char session. In the afternoon with the 2 chambees-yet-to-be-called-to-the-BAR i.e Linda & Nuzul.=)

later at night i get to spent with my other sets of friends from high school whom i haven't seen in ages. they were my close buddies cum classmates in high school. all are succesful. wei chee's in australia working and studying at the same time; li ling works at PWC Malaysia, phooi leng works at EY Malaysia. Yeap, i was the odd of the bunch. Thus whilst chilling at starbucks weird stares came from weird people as i was the only malay-wearing-tudung-girl there surrounded by hot chinese gurls.heh.and we call ourselves multi-racial country.double heh.

(p/s:that leaves u, yes u, cin fazlin mat zain to lepak with and make sure it is b4 ur wedding!!and oh yeah, i miss u too babes)

it was good to do catching ups with these gurls. it reminded me of how we were back then. we were all prefects but naughty. never studious. always talking. wish i could share pictures of us but the person who has photos of us have yet to upload them. i miss wei chee the most. she was my walk-home cum after-school lunch buddy and she remembers my bday even though she's in aussie. talk about long life buddy. they're indeed in the circle. only one was missing from the gathering; quah sian huey. the mature and smarty pants of us all. i miss her as well. those were the good no-responsibilities-old days. i miss and loike!!

on a different note, received a call from lia yesterday, telling me that she could relate herself to one of my recent blog post. i smiled to myself upon hearing that. i know my blog is not as cool or better still NOT AT ALL COOL since i only write bout my boring mundane life. i rarely write on current issues because i'll feel depressed and i use plain ol english. but to know that people actually READ my blog and could relate to what i feel and experience leaves me feeling all warm and fuzzy. she wasn't the first to say that to moi. there were several others. so, im normal after all? ehehheh..thanks guys!! =)

oh yeah, remember mr. smitten and infatuated? attended a function yesterday which could've caused me to accidentally bump into him *wink* but sadly, our path didn't cross. could only see him from far and no, admiring him from far didn't leave me smiling to myself like a fool.
